Today we were told to research how front covers, contents pages and double page spreads work together as a set. I annotated them with their codes and conventions and even when they subverted the conventions i mentioned it. For example the front covers of Q are usually a close up of the models profile not usually a long shot of the model like on here, that is usually left for the contents page or the double page spread. I noticed that all of the way through the contents and to double page spread the colour scheme is exactly the same as it is quite dull and black and white which contrasts with the Q logo and some of the red text. I also said that the models have been used throughout but just in different positions and in different places so the readers know who they are reading about, because it is the same people throughout. However front covers usually have plugs or a second photo of someone else to show what another story is going to be!
